Need help with day-to-day?
Move-ins, key handoffs, property inspections, and on-site maintenance are host-handled. If you'd rather not deal with those personally, hire a local property manager — your own, or someone we can introduce you to. Their fee (typically 8–12% of gross) layers on top of Roomiez's 7%, and is fully your call.

Every Roomiez host gets the same flat package for the 7% platform fee — no tiers. We handle: member background checks & ID verification, room listing & marketing, lease agreements, automated weekly rent collection via Stripe, member-side communications & support, and your host dashboard. You (or a property manager you hire on top) handle on-the-ground items like move-in/move-out coordination, maintenance, and inspections.
Rent is collected automatically via Stripe on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. Your earnings are deposited directly to your bank account, minus the management fee.
Yes — each bedroom should include at minimum a bed (full-size or larger), nightstand, lamp, and closet or armoire. We provide a detailed furnishing guide to help you set up quickly.
When a member gives notice, the room is automatically re-listed to our pre-approved member pool — Roomiez handles the marketing, screening, and onboarding of the next member. Most rooms re-fill within days. You (or your property manager) handle the physical move-out walkthrough and any cleaning between members.
