Roomiez is a co-living platform that connects renters with affordable, furnished rooms in shared homes across the country. We handle screening, payments, and property management so you can focus on living.
Rooms start at around $150/week, paid weekly or bi-weekly. All utilities, WiFi, and common area access are included — no surprise bills.
No long-term lease required. We do ask for a 30-day minimum commitment (to protect owners from very short-term occupancy), after which your membership continues week-to-week. Leave anytime with 2 weeks' notice.
All members complete an identity check, a criminal background check, and bank-based income verification via Stripe. You qualify if you show either (a) 2+ payroll deposits with monthly income ≥ 2.5× rent, or (b) a balance ≥ 3× monthly rent (auto-pass). No credit check. We never see your password and no money is moved.
Our approval process is fast — most applicants are approved within 1-2 business days. Once approved, you can move in as soon as the room is available.
Property owners can sign up, add their properties, and list individual rooms. Our team reviews and approves listings, then handles member screening and support.
